| During the time between Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II there was The Real Ghostbusters. A show that helped to bridge the gap between both of the movies. The show ran from 1986-1991. This started one of the biggest toy lines to come from a tv show ever! |
| Unfortunately as the show went on from season to season, kids became less interested in The Real Ghostbusters, and started to enjoy other things more (remember Street Sharks). Ultimately the show was canceled, but quickly picked up by the USA Cartoon Express and other local stations. |
